British Council charges USD 325 for a standard IELTS Academic or General Training test in Iraq. Unlike most countries covered here, the fee is quoted straight in dollars rather than converted from dinar, because dinar instability has pushed test centres to price and collect in USD directly. We checked centres in Baghdad, Basra, Sulaymaniyah, and Erbil, and all four listed the same 325 dollars. Miss your target band and there's no discounted second attempt: you pay the full fee again, or 350 dollars if you specifically need IELTS UKVI. British Council Iraq does list a One Skill Retake page, so resitting a single section instead of all four is technically on offer, but the fee for it isn't published anywhere we could confirm. Budget for a full retake unless your test centre tells you otherwise.
