VND 4,664,000 buys one attempt at IELTS Academic or General Training in Vietnam, whether you sit it on paper or computer, via IDP or British Council — both charge the same fee for the standard test. Neither provider discounts a retake: miss the band your university or visa application needs, and the next booking costs the full VND 4,664,000 again, or VND 5,252,000 if you need the UKVI version. IDP does sell a One Skill Retake for VND 2,940,000, but that only helps if your shortfall is isolated to a single skill — most people who fall short do so across more than one.
